At Altera Orthodontics, we understand that each patient's smile journey is different, and we are committed to giving you the personal attention you deserve. This important visit will address your orthodontic needs to determine if this is the proper time to begin treatment. At your first visit, you will be greeted by one of our team members and given a tour of our state-of-the-art office. Initial forms will be completed and a complimentary, no obligation orthodontic exam will be done. During this time, we will evaluate facial structure, the smile, the bite and alignment, and the amount of room available for all the teeth. From this initial visit, if a patient is ready to move forward, we then work together to decide what the best treatment plan will be.
If a patient is still developing (too young) and is not yet ready for treatment, we may recommend an observation phase where we will follow growth and development to determine the appropriate time for treatment.
Every member of our team is friendly and accessible, and we encourage our patients to ask questions at each step! We strive to make every patient comfortable by making sure you are informed regarding each phase of treatment and what to expect along the way. This is your journey, but we are in it together!
